| "This series shows a harmonious connection between the twin beauties of nature and man-made structures. The latter are set deep within the landscape, often seeming to be a part of it. These paintings are created from photographs, taken both locally and while traveling. My belief is that Canada is as beautiful as any country in the world. The beautiful vistas we find fabulous in other countries are no more spectacular than those we take for granted at home. My hope is that these paintings reflect this concept." |
